Barbara has led the Nutrition Service at HUHS since 1990. She holds a B.S. in Food and Nutrition from Framingham State University, and earned her Masters of Science in Nutrition from Boston University. Barbara oversees Nutrition outreaches on campus, often in collaboration with the Center for Wellness; collaborates with HUDS on nutrition-related events; serves as a training resource for ECHO and the FLP (Food Literacy Project) reps; and is available to students by referral for individual consultations on nutrition. In addition to nutrition, Barbara has a strong interest in mindfulness and meditation and has co-facilitated a mindfulness program for students.
