Peer Education

Peer education groups help to extend health and wellness education beyond the walls of Harvard University Health Services (HUHS) by promoting health & wellbeing to their fellow classmates.

HUHS professionals advise and train group members to contribute to a healthy student community. Through involvement with these programs, students gain knowledge and experience, enhance interpersonal skills, and develop new relationships.

The Harvard College Peer Education groups provide education to their peers on topics including consent, interpersonal violence prevention, sexual health, alcohol & substance use, mental health, and general health & physical wellbeing.
