The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is an 8-week intensive training in various mindfulness practices, including meditation. Based on ancient healing practices that were modified by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979, this program offers you a way to better manage stress and to restore balance to your life.
This enriching learning program requires a significant time commitment that includes attendance of the introduction, all classes, and 45 minutes of daily practice to include yoga, meditation and specific learning exercises. Please note: extra time may be needed to enter the Smith Campus Center during construction.
